  • Blessing, a child cared for at the Love One center

    Meet

    Blessing

Blessing weighed just 4.6 pounds at seven months old. Born to a teenage mother navigating significant challenges, she did not receive the consistent nourishment her growing body needed in those early months. Changes in feeding and financial strain contributed to severe malnutrition, and she was referred for medical care.

  • Christopher, a child cared for at the Love One center

    Meet

    Christopher

Christopher is just sixteen months old and the youngest of eight children. His parents work tirelessly to provide for their large family, but stretched resources made it difficult to ensure each child received the nutrition and medical care they needed. Over time, Christopher’s health began to decline. Swelling, peeling skin, and painful sores around his mouth signaled that his body wasn’t getting what it needed to grow and stay strong.

  • Emmanuel, a child cared for at the Love One center

    Meet

    Emmanuel

Emmanuel is a 13-month-old little boy being raised by his paternal great-grandmother. After losing his mother at just three months old and facing ongoing instability in his home, Emmanuel did not receive the consistent care and nourishment his growing body needed.
